The past few years were successful ones for great Vera Bradley patterns and colors. One of them was the Vera Bradley Botanica signature cotton fabric pattern. While Vera comes out with patterns every season, other past ones become retired at some point. Botanica was one of the patterns that retired in July 2008 along with a few other ones including Mesa Red, Capri Blue and Pink Elephants. Every Vera Bradley has its fans, but some of them enter the retired collection and part of the history of the designer. Although these patterns are retired, you can still find accessories that feature them. It just means that your Vera Bradley accessory is all the more unique and rare because patterns like Botanica are no longer in production.
